We are available for performances at corporate and private events and can offer shows of traditional Argentine tango as well as theatrical choreographies. Our traditional performances seek to transmit the essence of Argentine tango and are firmly rooted in improvisation. In our choreographic work, we specialize in theatrical pieces that combine tango with comedy or drama, telling short stories through movement. If you require a more elaborate performance, we can bring a group of up to four dancers and an actor, for a full-length show that will surprise and entertain your guests. The Tango Zone Dance Company Created in 2008 in New York City, The Tango Zone Dance Company produces multimedia shows combining tango, theater, comedy and video. Our current production is a double-feature show in two parts, “Dreamonia” and “Time.” The show requires four to seven performers and lasts approximately 1.5 hours with a 10-minute intermission. The show is available for travel and we offer it either by itself or as part of a tango minifestival including the show, thematic milongas and special seminars with the company dancers. The minifestival with four performers/instructors is an excellent option for mid-sized and large communities looking to infuse their local scene with renewed enthusiasm.
